Signs and Signposts Survey

Here is the survey that Room 3 created to help understand what our stakeholders want for the signs we will create. Stakeholders are people that will benefit from the sign eg. parents, children, staff, community members etc. We thought about our research and investigation so far to help us develop the questions.

Please take the time to complete our survey as it will help us in our design process.

Our stencil art work with Mr Betman

This week we have been doing some stencil art work with Mr Betman.First we watched a video of people doing some stencil art.We then drew our own design on a peice of paper. We then had to cut the pattern or letters out. After that we then put our design on a sheet of coloured paper and spray over it with the black spray paint. On the bit of coloured paper you will then see your designs. Here are some photos of our designs. We also made some posters and stuck different type of stencils on them.

WOW WEEK

Last week was WOW WEEK it was based on master chef.
One of the activities was blind-folded taste testing, some of the foods were awful like raw onion,
lemon and cold Marmite on a spoon with no toast YUCK!
We also made Ginger Beer and we left it for a few days until the bottles became as hard as rock. When we opened the bottles the ginger beer over-flowed because of the Fermentation (yeast and sugar).
We made Piklets on Friday that week our toppings were Jam, whipped cream and we had a spoonful of yogurt that we made it was Berry flavoured and learnt how yogurt is made (in a factory).
We compared salt, sugar and fat levels in different every day foods.

Blind food tasting!

Last week for our WOW week we did some blind food tasting. Each day we  had different foods to try and guess what they were based on smell, feel and taste. Some of them were not nice!'
Here are some photos of us in action:
